Merger rush presents new risks, says SRA report

Market consolidation presents a new set of risks for firms to be aware of and prevent, a new Solicitors Regulation Authority report has concluded.

The regulator said it had collected mounting evidence showing the legal profession is shrinking at a rapid pace in the face of competitive pressures.
