[2009] EWCA Crim 2616

A conviction under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 s.51(1) for intimidating a person who was assisting in the investigation of an offence was found to be unsafe where the judge had neither identified, nor had given any assistance to the jury as to what the Crown had to prove in relation to, the offence said to be under investigation.
