In a trial for aggravated burglary, a judge had been right to admit the evidence of a third party who had originally been a suspected accomplice but had changed his account to implicate the defendant. Witnesses who had their own interests to serve frequently had to be assessed by juries and there was nothing inherently unfair in that.
