Olympic Route Networks (ORN), Strategic Road Networks (SRN), Alternative Route Networks (ARN)

There will be a number of ORN and PRN lanes in operation during the Olympic Games and Paralympics. There are different types of routes – core, venue specific, training and alternative – and they will be in operation at different times.

HMCTS has checked the location of its buildings in relation to these routes and criminal defence practitioners should note the following:

• Westminster Magistrates’ Court – by advance arrangements use Shillibeer Place, reached from Harcourt Street / York Street, to access car park;
• Stratford Magistrates’ Court – by advance arrangement use Chant Street to access car park;
• Thames Magistrates’ Courts – by advance arrangements use Mornington Grove to access car park.

There are a number of other buildings which are close to ORN/PRN or ARNs and the normal routes to reach them will be affected.
